The IOT9011 inserts optoelectronic isolation between two RS232 devices to reduce the risk of damage and communication faults caused by ground potential differences, surge interference and electrostatic discharge.
Its male-to-female DB9 format supports asynchronous full-duplex transparent transmission from 300 to 115200 bps. Power is drawn from the serial interface, so no external power adapter is required.
