Product Overview

A practical path for bringing installed serial equipment into modern industrial data networks.

The SW2000 Series is a family of compact unmanaged industrial Ethernet switches for connecting PLCs, vision systems, robots, HMIs, CNC equipment and monitoring terminals at the control-cabinet edge.

Four models are verified from model-specific DTECH specifications: 5-port and 8-port Fast Ethernet variants plus 5-port and 8-port Gigabit variants. Each model supports plug-and-play operation, full/half-duplex auto-negotiation and automatic MDI/MDI-X.

All four verified models use dual DC power inputs, fanless IP40 aluminum housings, 35 mm DIN-rail mounting and a documented -40°C to 85°C operating range.

Frequently Asked Questions

Verified answers for product selection and project planning.

Which SW2000 models are verified on this page?

Four model-specific DTECH specifications were verified: SW2000-5FT-IU-2D, SW2000-8FT-IU-2D, SW2000-5GT-IU-2D and SW2000-8GT-IU-2D. Other SW2000 port configurations are not listed until exact source documents are available.

What is the difference between FT and GT models?

FT variants provide 10/100Base-T(X) ports, while GT variants provide 10/100/1000Base-T(X) ports. Choose the model by port count and required Ethernet rate.

Does the SW2000 Series require configuration?

No management step is required for the four verified unmanaged models. They use plug-and-play store-and-forward switching with auto-negotiation and automatic MDI/MDI-X.

What equipment can connect through an SW2000 switch?

The model specifications show PLC and vision inspection, AGV, CNC, robot, wastewater equipment, power distribution, park security and intelligent storage applications. Every endpoint still needs a compatible Ethernet interface and project-specific network design.

What must be confirmed before ordering?

Confirm 5 or 8 ports, Fast Ethernet or Gigabit speed, available DC power, enclosure space and environmental conditions. Select the exact model code from the comparison table and retain its corresponding specification.
